Mission Beijing 2026: The Landmark Success of a Tripartite Cooperation Led by Africa55Durable, OFECFC, and RCEEDAO
12 days of intensive mission, over 20 official events, 888 groups and conglomerates engaged, and representation from 66 nations: a retrospective on the resounding success of the delegation led by H.E. Mr. Ousmane DIAKITE and H.E. Mr. Bernard SOK in the People's Republic of China.
BEIJING (China) — From July 14 to 25, 2026, the Chinese capital stood at the center of high-level diplomatic, cultural, and industrial activity during the 8th Edition of the World Inheritors Conference of Intangible Cultural Heritage (WICHIC 2026).
Held under the auspices of major international organizations (UNDESA, UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, and WICHIC), this joint mission was co-organized by the Africa55Durable Initiative, the OFECFC (Organization for the Promotion of France-China Cultural Exchanges, affiliated with UN-ECOSOC), and the RCEEDAO (Network of European Expert Chambers – West Africa Department).
Solesmn Co-Chairs at the Great Hall of the People
A defining highlight of this state-level mission was the official ceremonies hosted at the iconic Great Hall of the People in Beijing, where H.E. Mr. Ousmane DIAKITE (Founder & President of Africa55Durable, Vice-President of RCEEDAO) and H.E. Mr. Bernard SOK (President of OFECFC / UN-DESA) served as Co-Chairmen of the 8th WICHIC Edition.
Their keynote addresses and interventions established Africa55Durable, OFECFC, and RCEEDAO as premier institutional gateways for structuring strategic partnerships connecting China, Europe, and the African continent.
Major Industrial and Economic Milestones
Beyond its cultural prestige, Mission Beijing 2026 achieved significant economic breakthroughs through the formalization of strategic agreements with leading Chinese industrial and technological conglomerates:
- Infrastructure & Construction Materials: Strategic supply partnership for high-performance thermal energy-efficient architectural glass with Yinjian Dongguan Glass Engineering Co., Ltd.
- Civil Engineering & Sustainable Housing: Industrial partnership with GMC (Guangzhou Municipal Construction Group) to deploy eco-friendly infrastructure programs.
- Green Mobility & Automotive Assembly: Strategic agreement with automotive manufacturer Summake for clean vehicle procurement and the establishment of a local assembly plant in West Africa.
- Agri-Tech & Food Sovereignty: Agricultural engineering and IoT-enabled vertical farming partnership with Farm66 Investment Limited.
- Energy Sovereignty & Digital Heritage Conservation: Integration of breakthrough renewable technologies, notably neutrinovoltaic energy, ensuring continuous, off-grid power supply for data servers, virtual museums, and digital archives dedicated to preserving intangible cultural heritage.
Ethics, Governance, and Peace Values
All agreements stemming from the mission are anchored in the overarching vision championed by H.E. Mr. Ousmane DIAKITE, combining alignment with the Republican Call for National Concord (supporting the Nobel Peace Prize ticket of Alassane OUATTARA and Laurent GBAGBO) with unyielding governance standards.
Backed by UNODC integrity certifications and strict adherence to ESG criteria, the Office of the Founder & President enforces mandatory compliance with the ISO 37001 anti-corruption standard across all financial and operational frameworks resulting from the mission.
With the consolidation of the Franco-Sino-African network, the delegation is now executing its Q3/Q4 2026 roadmap to accelerate project implementation across Africa.
