New Dawn of sustainable real estate program in AFRICA

Launch of a sustainable real estate program in line with international environmental standards

Abidjan, January 16, 2026 – Africa55Durable, Cameron Group International (CGI), the Groupement Foncier de Côte d'Ivoire (GFCI), ANG Group and our partners including China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC: the world's leading construction company) are officially committing through the anchoring of strategic agreements that pave the way for a vast sustainable real estate program in Côte d'Ivoire and across Africa.

These agreements aim to:

  • To develop affordable, high-quality housing, incorporating modular and prefabricated technologies.
  • Comply with international environmental standards, including the Paris Agreement, by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and preventing deforestation.
  • Promote energy efficiency and the use of eco-friendly materials, in order to minimize the carbon footprint of projects.
  • Mobilize green and innovative financing, transforming climate commitments into tangible financial flows (carbon credits, green taxation, subsidies).

This sustainable real estate program is a decisive step for African industrial and energy sovereignty, and positions Côte d'Ivoire as  a continental showcase for responsible construction.
