​Abidjan, April 1, 2026 – The verdict is in following the Council of Ministers: the Ivorian State is deploying its heavy artillery. Faced with recurring power cuts that plague households and stifle business momentum, an emergency program costing 32 billion FCFA has just been activated.

​While this announcement, delivered by Government Spokesperson Amadou Coulibaly, brings a much-needed breath of hope, it also raises a fundamental question: how can we sustain our energy independence in a context of unprecedented climate disruption? This is where the convergence between public investment and breakthrough technologies, championed by players such as the Neutrino Energy Group and Africa55Durable, takes on its full meaning.
